Follow in the footsteps of Vincent van Gogh
Van Gogh Europe is a network of collaborating European heritage locations and museums that are connected to the life and work of Vincent van Gogh. Including the Van Gogh Museum, Musée d’Orsay, Chateau Auvers, and Van Gogh House London.
Goal
The aim of Van Gogh Europe is to make Van Gogh’s cultural heritage accessible to a wide audience, in order to inspire, unite, and engage current and future generations. The foundation wanted to help audiences discover Van Gogh’s heritage throughout Europe, on the exact places where he lived and worked.

A listening story that allows you to follow in Vincent's footsteps. Discover Vincent's own stories, with excerpts from letters from Vincent and his brother Theo, music and historical images, and a selection of his works. As you journey through Drenthe, Brabant, the Belgian Borinage, London, Arles, Saint-Rémy and Auvers-sur-Oise.

Narratives
Audiences unlock narratives on specific locations, accompanied by music and visuals. An listening story that unfolds while strolling through the places where Vincent lived and worked.
Vincent himself
Based on the many letters that are preserved, Vincent’s own story is told as if you are listening to Vincent van Gogh himself.
Masterpieces
Audiences can discover the artworks Vincent created, on the exact same locations he created them. With high-resolution images of his masterpieces for audiences to explore and to learn how Vincent looked at the world around him.
Partner map
A digital map with the locations and information of all the collaborating partners of the Van Gogh Europe Foundation. Providing audiences with location-based information about sites and museums they can visit.
